Chocolate liqueur desserts

You can do much more with liqueur than just making cocktails. You can also make amazing desserts with them! Anne from Anne Travel Foodie has created this delicious and easy recipe for Chocolate liqueur desserts with Bols Cacao Brown liqueur.

 

Ingredients (serves 4):

  • 100 gram brownies

  • 6 tablespoons Bols Cacao Brown liqueur

  • 150 grams dark chocolate

  • 100 ml milk

  • 250ml whipped cream

  • 50 grams sugar

How to make these delicious Chocolate liqueur desserts

  1. Crumble the brownies and divide them over 4 glasses.

  2. Pour 1.5 tablespoon of Bols Cacao Brown liqueur over each brownie layer.

  3. Melt the chocolate in the milk au-bain-marie. Let it cool, for example by putting the bowl in a bigger bowl with ice-cold water.

  4. Whip the cream with the sugar until stiff. Set a few tablespoons of whipped cream aside.

  5. Gently mix the chocolate mixture into the whipped cream. Stir to combine. Let it set in the fridge for at least one hour.

  6. Divide the chocolate mousse over the 4 glasses. Top with the whipped cream and optionally some chocolate sprinkles.
