Bols Dry Orange liqueur, with its distinctive dark orange color and complex palate, forms the base for famous cocktails like the (aged) Mai Tai and the Orange Collins. It was introduced at the Exposition Universelle d'Anvers in 1885, where it was described as ‘nectar of the gods, distilled from sweet sugar from the West (Indies)’.

Aged Mai Tai

25ml Bols Dry Orange
45 Bols Barrel Aged Genever
20ml Fresh lime juice
5ml Orgeat syrup
5ml Sugar syrup

How to make an Aged Mai Tai
Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and fill it up to two-thirds of the way with ice cubes. Shake the cocktail for around 10 seconds and pour it into a tiki glass and fill it with ice cubes and top it off with crushed ice. Garnish it with a sprig of mint and a lime shell.
