After Bols Business class editions hosted in Dubai, Manchester, St Petersburg, Amsterdam and Moscow in 2015, Copenhagen started off 2016 with the first of five new editions of Bols Business class. More than 120 guests from Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway attended the event, which featured a varied line-up of international and local speakers with topics ranging from bar profits, social media, ‘going local’ and bar concepts.  The speakers in Copenhagen were: Jim Meehan (USA), Calum Brannan (UK) Sune Risum-Urth (DK) Hans Bihl (SWE) and Casper Reinders (NL). A selected group of attending guests had the rare opportunity to have a short one-on-one chat with one of the speakers during the meet and greet. 

Jim Meehan: Serving your staff and your investors

Jim Meehan, Founder of PDT, bartender, journalist, and author of The PDT Cocktail Book, has worked in nearly every capacity of the hospitality business for the latter half of his 39 years on the planet. He is currently writing his second book, Meehan’s manual, which will be released next year. Jim established (P)OUR in 2016, together with Alex Kratena, Simone Caporale, Ryan Chetiyawardana, Monica Berg, Joerg Meyer and Xavier Padovani. P(OUR) is a not for profit organization devoted to exploring new ideas, sharing information, and exchanging inspiration within the global drinks industry.
