The Bols Bartending Academy has a wide variety of trainers. Let us introduce them to you.
Not only do our trainers have a lot of international bar experience, they have also participated in leading presentation, management, bartending and drink expertise courses of the trade. Since the opening in April 2007, the trainers at the Bols Bartending Academy have trained over 20.000 bartenders from all over the world.
Tyron Fransisca is the senior trainer of the Bols Bartending Academy. With over 10 years of experience as a bartender and bar manager in the hospitality business, Tyron is eager to pass on his acquired knowledge. Tyron’s passion for cocktails and bartending began at an early age in his homeland; the island of Curaçao. In 2003 he moved to the Netherlands to complete his studies.
Here he landed a job as a bartender at the renowned Breakaway Café in Rotterdam in 2007. Tyron has participated in several flair and cocktail competitions. He loves to share his passion for cocktails and bartending and is dedicated to take the hospitality industry to a higher level.
Malika Saidi is a bartender, world traveller, former physiotherapist, cocktail aficionado, Global Brand Ambassador and trainer at the Bols Bartending Academy. She has presented at international bar shows and has trained thousands of bartenders all over the world.
She is an inspiring speaker and a spirits enthusiast, with a passion for exciting flavour combinations in drinks and food.

Ivar de Lange has more than 21 years’ experience in bartending. Throughout his university years he kept on working in the cocktail and hospitality industry. In 2008 he decided to open his own cocktail bar. Both with the bar and as a bartender, Ivar has won many awards, competitions and accolades. He has been named Hollands’ Best Bartender by his colleagues.
Ivar joined the Bols Bartending Academy in 2016 as the Master Bartender and manager of the Bols Academy and is responsibly for the global cocktail program.
Ivar will be hosting the International Bar Management Training.
