About Natasha Velez

I grew up in Santurce, Puerto Rico where I began working for Emilio Figueroa’s hotel, Koco in San Juan began to develop a strong passion for the craft. Helped open the Piña Colada Club in the Caribe Hilton and later found myself at Casa Lola, working for acclaimed chef, Roberto Treviño. After opening several bars and thirsting more started working at La Factoria with Leslie Cofresi and & Roberto Berdecia until I decided to make the move and explore New York. There after I quickly started working with the Bols family part time while working at some bars in New York like Empellon cocina & Madam geneva.

My current Bar : Bathtub Gin

Bathtub Gin, it’s one of those magical places that transport you to a different state of mind. Somedays 
there is burlesque and you can enjoy a delicious meal & Cocktails while you watch it. Hidden inside of a 
coffee shop it’s definitely one of the best jewels in NYC.
